Booster Club The Heritage High School Orchestra Booster Club's Mission is to provide both monetary assistance and boost the program's moral while helping the orchestra become a recognized member of the fine arts community. |

Private lessons are designed to enrich and further the level of performance of the musician. One-on-one individual instruction is one of the main reasons why orchestra programs are extremely successful in Texas, and Frisco, in particular.
Private study is not a requirement for participation in the program, however, it should be noted that most orchestra students who take advantage of this excellent opportunity progress beyond the norm, and tend to be more successful at competitions and chair tests. It is a misconception that private lessons are only for students who have fallen behind on their instrument. While private lessons absolutely benefit those students, private lessons are designed and intended more for students that are advancing and proving successful on their instrument. The private instructors that the director recommends are degreed professional musicians who make their living mostly from performing and teaching. They are members of local performing symphonies, and have thriving private studios. Students interested in taking private lessons should talk to the director. The director will provide a recommended private instructor list with contact information. Students or parents should contact the private teachers to get more information about that individual teacher’s schedule, and begin taking lessons as soon as possible! There are several options where private lessons can take place.
